TRAVEL WITH CONFIDENCE

You know who is behind your journey.

Anagh Routes is intentionally personal. You are not passed from a salesperson to an anonymous operations team.

Nivedan stays closely involved in understanding your interests, shaping the itinerary and helping the journey work on the ground.

A JOURNEY BUILT AROUND YOU

Your trip should make sense for you.

Maybe you want Rajasthan without rushing. Five wildlife safaris instead of one.

A motorcycle journey through Ladakh. A Himalayan trek. Photography. Family travel. Or simply enough time to sit over chai and understand where you are.

Tell me how you like to travel — I’ll help turn it into a journey that makes sense.

YOUR JOURNEY

Your pace
Your interests

SEE THE INVISIBLE

Some of the best moments were never on the itinerary.

Travel becomes memorable when there is room to notice what is happening around you — a conversation, a family meal, a chai stop, a school visit, or simply a moment you would have missed by rushing to the next attraction.

“I don’t want to show you all of India. I want to help you experience the India that is right for you.”

ABOUT NIVEDAN

Travel became my career before I realised I had one.

I started working with international travellers at 19.

I had little English, very little experience and a lot to learn — but I quickly discovered that I was good at understanding people, managing situations and helping travellers feel comfortable in India.

Those early journeys eventually became more than a decade of working with international travellers across India and Nepal — and ultimately the foundation for Anagh Routes.

WHY ANAGH ROUTES

You don't need a bigger travel company.
You need the right people behind your journey.

01.

You speak to the person designing your journey

I'm personally involved from the first conversation through the planning process and remain connected to what is happening on the ground.

Your journey doesn't disappear into a chain of salespeople, departments and unknown suppliers.

02.

Recommendations are made for you, not for commissions

I would rather tell you that something isn't worth your time than add it simply because it is popular, expensive or profitable.

The itinerary should serve the traveller — not the other way around.

03.

Experience matters most when something doesn't go to plan

Beautiful hotels and good guides matter.

But real travel experience becomes most valuable when a flight changes, a road closes, a traveller becomes tired, or an itinerary suddenly needs to adapt.

After 13+ years in international travel, problem-solving is part of the service.

REAL JOURNEY

He came back — and brought his friends.

Jørgen first travelled with me in 2014 as part of a student group from Aarhus Business Collage.

He asked for me again the following year. In 2019, he returned to India with friends — this time for a journey through sacred Vrindavan, Rajasthan, my hometown, my old school and the Thar Desert.

Later, the group invited me to Denmark. The itinerary ended; the relationship didn't.

DESTINATIONS

Start with a place.
Then make it yours.

HOW IT WORKS

From an idea to a journey.

01

Tell me about you

Your interests, pace, comfort, travel style and what you're hoping to experience.

02

I shape the first journey

I turn those ideas into a thoughtful route rather than pulling a standard itinerary from a catalogue.

03

We refine it together

Hotels, experiences, pace and logistics are adjusted until the trip feels right.

04

You travel with support

Once you're in India, you still have someone you know behind the journey.

Outstanding India Journey with Anagh Routes

I have travelled alone in India several times before, but this time I wanted a guide because I was travelling with my almost 85-year-old mother and my sister, who were both visiting India for the first time, and I didn’t want to carry the full organizational burden myself. I was recommended Anagh Routes, and especially Nivedan, and it turned out to be an absolute stroke of luck. Already during the planning stage I asked Nivedan to design the itinerary in a way that would not overwhelm my mother. He handled this perfectly. Our journey included the magnificent temples of Khajuraho, including the famous Kamasutra temples, tiger safaris in Panna National Park and Ranthambore National Park, as well as sightseeing in Delhi and, of course, the iconic highlights of Agra and Jaipur. As a wonderful grand finale, we also celebrated the Holi festival in Mandawa. Nivedan also showed great sensitivity when choosing Mandawa as the place to experience Holi. As a small town, the celebrations were lively and colorful but not chaotic or overcrowded. This made it an ideal place for all of us — and especially for my mother — to safely enjoy and actively take part in this unique festival. What we especially appreciated was that Nivedan constantly encouraged us to try a wide variety of Indian dishes and sweets. We also travelled several longer stretches by train — not in the most basic class, but also not in luxury — which allowed us to experience India among locals and made the journey feel much more authentic. Finally, I would like to say that Nivedan himself is a truly wonderful and warm-hearted person. He takes great care of his guests, always enjoys a good conversation, and has a wonderful sense of humor. Travelling with him every day was a real pleasure. The only unfortunate thing is that our journey with him lasted just two weeks — we would happily have travelled much longer.

MORE THAN A TRIP

The best cultural experiences begin with respect.

My earliest years in travel were spent working alongside international travellers, schools and local communities across India and Nepal.

They taught me that meaningful travel isn't about arriving somewhere to “change” it.

It is about listening, participating respectfully and allowing people from very different backgrounds to meet as people.

Where it is appropriate and genuinely welcomed, I still look for opportunities to bring travellers closer to everyday life — through schools, families, local communities and experiences that rarely fit neatly into a conventional sightseeing programme.

The goal isn't to manufacture authenticity.
It is to leave enough room for real connections to happen.

THROUGH NIVEDAN'S LENS

Photography taught me to notice what others walk past.

I have been photographing for more than a decade. The camera taught me patience, observation and the habit of looking beyond the obvious — qualities that also influence the journeys I design.
