PRIVATE INDIA JOURNEYS

There isn't one India to see.

There is the India that makes sense for you.

Some people arrive wanting palaces and history. Others want tigers, mountain roads, food, photography or simply enough time to understand what is happening around them.

My job isn't to show you everything. It's to help you choose well.

BEFORE THE ITINERARY

India is exciting. It can also feel like too much choice.

You may already have Delhi, Rajasthan, Varanasi, wildlife and the Himalayas saved somewhere.

The difficult part isn't finding things to see. It is deciding what belongs together, what deserves more time and what will make the journey feel rushed.

That is where I prefer to begin.

FOUR WAYS INTO INDIA

Start with what pulls you in.

01 · CULTURE

Rajasthan, slowly.

Palaces and forts matter. So do markets, food, old neighbourhoods, village roads and enough time to notice the life around them.

Best when: culture matters more than ticking cities.

02 · WILDLIFE

India in the wild

Tiger country rewards patience. Safari permits, zones, seasons and travel time need to be designed around the experience rather than added at the end.

Best when: wildlife deserves to shape the route.

03 · HIMALAYAS

Into the mountains.

Ladakh and the Himalayas are about more than dramatic roads. Altitude, distances, weather and the ability to change plans are part of the journey.

04 · SACRED + EVERYDAY

India that doesn't separate ritual from life.

Varanasi, temples, family traditions, festivals and small encounters that make sense only when you have enough context to notice them.

A NOTE FROM NIVEDAN

Don't rush India simply because you came a long way to reach it.

One of the easiest mistakes is adding another city because it looks close on a map.

I would rather give you one fewer hotel check-in and one more morning when nobody needs to hurry.

The trip should leave you curious about India — not relieved that you survived the itinerary.

MOMENTS THAT MAY NEVER APPEAR ON THE ITINERARY

The parts people often remember are smaller than the headline sights.
